200g Hacı Bekir Turkish Delight with Pistachio.
“Lokum”, the Turkish Delight, is a masterpiece of Hacı Bekir Effendi, introduced first to the Ottoman Palace and then to world cuisines along with hard candies and almond paste. Although dating back to the traditional Turkish Cuisine of the 15th century, the composition of lokum as we know today was created by Hacı Bekir Effendi in the 17th century when he started to use starch and refined sugar.
