Amenities & Steam Room

Both locations feature a co-ed and communal Steam Room, access is complimentary with any service valued above $100. The Bayview Village location also offers a infrared sauna. Both locations also feature a relaxing tea lounge with complimentary snacks and beverages.

Our change rooms are stocked with items you’ll need post-services: shower products, hair products, styling tools, body lotion, and other small cosmetic items that might come in handy after a visit to the spa. We also provide wraps to wear in the steam room, robes, slippers, and secure lockers for personal items.

You can also continue your spa experience at home with a visit to The Boutique at Hammam Spa by Céla, filled with products to treat yourself or someone else.

Steam room access is available to everyone at a drop-in rate of $65.00 plus tax Monday to Thursday (based on capacity) and is complimentary for guests with services valued over $100. We encourage all guests 18 and older to use the steam room at their discretion. Those under the age of 18, or are prenatal are not permitted to use the Steam Room.

Use of the Hammam Steam Room is prohibited for guests under the age of 18 and women who are pregnant. If you are joining us for another treatment while pregnant, we will happily add a one time use steam pass on your client profile so we may welcome you back for a complimentary steam visit once your little one has arrived.

Guests having advanced treatments such as the Oxygeneo Facial or Intensive Facial Peel are not able to use the steam room, due to the sensitization of the skin. The high temperature and humidity of the steam room may harm persons who are elderly, have high or low blood pressure, have heart disease, or diabetes. We strongly recommend you speak with your physician prior to use if you have any of the above conditions. We encourage all guests 18 and older to use the steam room at their discretion.

Absolutely! Access to the steam room without a booked service is available Monday to
Thursday and is based on availability. Simply purchase the drop-in Hammam Steam
Room service at $65.00 plus tax. We recommend calling the location of your choice on
the day you wish to drop in to ensure availability.

Facilities & Your Visit

Both locations book up in advance with our busy season being from October- March. For Massage Therapy appointments, we suggest booking a minimum of four weeks in advance for weekends. For esthetic services, a minimum of two weeks. Our online booking platform always displays the most up to date schedule, see here for our King St West location and Bayview Village location.

All guests are required to fill out our Health History Form prior to beginning services. This form must be updated annually. Advanced facial treatments such as our Oxygeneo Facial or Intensive Facial Peel require a separate consent form to be filled out to confirm eligibility.

We provide all guests with a secure digital locker. Hammam Spa by Céla is not
responsible for loss or theft of personal property.

Upon arriving at Hammam Spa by Céla, you will be provided with a robe, a Turkish wrap, and a pair of slippers in a secure, private locker. For body treatments, the recommended attire is a bathing suit. For massage therapy and facial services, you may undress completely beneath your wrap and robe, or keep undergarments on if you prefer, as your body will be fully draped during, except for the areas being worked on.

Our Turkish Wrap is perfect for enjoying our steam room! A bathing suit may also be worn in the steam room. All guests enjoying the steam room must be wearing a Turkish Wrap or a bathing suit.

Outside food and drink is prohibited in the spa. We provide Sloane Marrakesh Mint Tea, lemon water, and light snacks in our tea lounge. We are currently serving Impact Kitchen lunch options, which can be ordered prior to your service.

Our Bayview Village location offers a gender neutral- accessible washroom and
changing room. Unfortunately, with limited space at Hammam Spa by Cela King St
West, we do not have a gender-neutral bathroom or changing facilities. We do however encourage guests to use the changing room they feel most comfortable using.

Treatments & Services

At the beginning of your massage, your RMT will speak to you about your concerns; from there, the treatment will be customized for you. If you’re unsure when booking online, a Swedish Massage is a safe bet and this can always be altered during the intake session.

Congratulations! Services that are safe to have during pregnancy include all nail
services, the Signature Custom Facial, the Mini Facial, and any Prenatal Massage.
Upon arrival, we ask all prenatal clients to update their health history form. Guests who are pregnant are not able to use the steam room or have any body treatments.

If you are not sure of the best facial for you, try the Signature Custom Facial. During the
service, our skin experts will customize the facial to provide the best results for you
while providing all the staples of a classic facial: cleansing, exfoliation, masking and
extractions.

Our skilled nail technicians use CND Shellac Polish or CND Vinylux Polish, we do not offer Gel, Chrome, or acrylic nail services. Please note we are not able to remove hard gels or acrylic nails.

Our nail services, body treatments, and massages can all be done side-by-side.

Insurance & Coverage

Yes, all RMT massage therapists at Hammam Spa by Céla locations are registered with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario. When booking, please ensure you book a massage which says it is being performed by an RMT.

We do not bill directly to insurance companies. We can provide you with an itemized and registered receipt at the end of your treatment to submit at your own will.

If you are paying for your massage service with a gift card/certificate, this will be stated on your RMT receipt. This practice is in accordance with the regulations set by the CMTO (College of Massage Therapists of Ontario). To learn if you will receive coverage, please contact your insurance provider.

Based on the current CMTO regulations, Hammam Spa by Cela must state on the
insurance receipt who paid for the service, and who received the service.

Cancellations & Policies

Due to the popularity and demand for Hammam Spa by Céla’s services, we have a strict 24-Hour Cancellation Policy. If you have booked a service and need to cancel or make any changes to your booking(s), you must notify us at least 24 hours in advance. Groups and Parties must notify us one week in advance of their booking.

Cancellations or no-shows with less than 24 hours’ notice will be charged at full value.

Unfortunately, arriving late will limit your treatment time, as we must honour our
schedule so the next guest will not be delayed. Should you arrive late and have your service shortened as a result, you will still be charged the full value. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

Failure to pay for no shows or missed appointments will result in future appointments halted until payment has been collected, out of respect for our services providers’ time.

Should an emergency arise, please contact us by phone and email right away. We understand some things are unavoidable and will try to accommodate you as best as possible.

Yes, we are still expecting you to attend your appointment, unless we hear otherwise via phone or email.

Cell phones must be on silent while in the spa, in order to maintain a tranquil environment for everyone. Recording, and photography may not be taken in the change room to protect the privacy of other guests.

We ask for you to do so in our lobby to not interrupt other guests. Calls cannot be taken in the lounge, change rooms, or treatment rooms.

We love to see our guests enjoying the beauty of our spas and posting on social media! If you are documenting your experience with us, we ask you to respect the privacy of our staff and other guests and refrain from having them in any photos or videos. With other guests in mind, no photography of video should be taken in the change room.

Guests under the age of 18 who are not booked in for services are not allowed to be in treatment rooms or lounge areas at any time, even if accompanied by a guardian.

Yes, we are happy to host groups! Please email info@hammamspa.ca and indicate
which location you prefer, preferred dates, number of guests attending, primary and
secondary services for each guest, and any preferences for a male or female service
provider.

Gift Cards

Yes! Currently our online store is not set up to accept them, if looking to purchase some items and have them shipped to you feel free to email us at info@hammamspa.ca

Funds are unable to be added to a gift card or certificate.

Our gift cards do not expire or lose value. If you purchased a package or service on promotion, the promotional price is honoured for up to one calendar year. After that point, it may be used as a dollar value towards services, products, or gratuity.

All gift cards and gift certificates can be bought and redeemed at either Hammam Spa by Céla location!

Products & Orders

We will offer a full refund on unopened products within 14 days of purchase. A spa credit will be issued after 30 days of purchase, upon presentation of a valid receipt at the same location as originally purchased. Skincare products may be returned due to severe reaction within 30 days of purchase for a spa credit upon presentation of a valid receipt. All nail polishes, nail and foot files, and gift cards/certificates are final sale.

Our team does our best to process orders as quickly as possible, processing time is
typically 1-3 business days. You will receive an email or phone call to notify you when your order is ready to be picked up.

We would be happy to change that for you! Just send us an email with your name, order number and shipping address.

Shipping is complimentary across Canada.

Most GTA orders will receive their order in 1-2 business days. Outside of the GTA can expect to receive their order in 3-5 business days.
