Multi-Masking 101

Multi-Masking 101

All of a sudden, Multi-Masking is everywhere. If Chrissy Teigen can do it, then so can you.

So what’s it all about?

Different areas of the skin have unique needs. Multi-Masking is the process of applying multiple masks in different areas of the face to achieve optimal results overall. For example, the pores on our nose will always be oilier than the rest of the face, whereas cheeks have a tendency to become dry, especially in winter. So why treat different areas with the same mask, right?

In this picture, we used Dermalogica’s NEW and yet to be released Charcoal Mask to cheeks. (Launching in Canada in early 2016!) This revolutionary formula is gentle enough for even sensitive skin types to enjoy the benefits of charcoal in their beauty regime, like purification and improved texture. Next we have applied SkinCeuticals Clarifying Clay Masque on the T-zone to draw out impurities and exfoliate on our models’ oily and breakout prone forehead, nose and chin. Finally, we paid specific attention to the eye area and treated it to Dermalogica’s Multi-Vitamin Power recovery masque for a hit of vitamin A, C, E, and F to rejuvenate this prematurely aging area.

So what’s your unique masque combination?
